Doris Williams retired June 30th after 26 years of service with the agency.  Doris joined Home Health in 1984 as a homemaker/aide.  She began working in the office in 1986 as a clerk/receptionist.  Congratulations and Thank You Doris for your many years of dedication to Putnam County HomeCare and Hospice, you will be greatly missed!

Putnam County Hospice would like to thank the community and individuals for their generosity and support at the 13th annual Hospice Night Out held at the Ottawa K of C Hall on February 13th, 2010.  Many thanks to all for your continued support.  Thank you again for helping us to help others celebrate life. 

Clara Settlemire has been named Putnam County HomeCare and Hospice Aide of the Year for 2009.  Clara was nominated by her peers and clients.  Clara has been an employee for 11 years and has demonstrated compassion and dedication to the clients she serves.  Her nomination was reviewed by the West Central Ohio Home Health Organization.  Clara has a willingness to serve, dedication to excellence and ability to implement personalized care.  Congratulations to Clara!!

Board of Health meetings are held on the second Thursday of the month at the Putnam County Health Department at 6:30 p.m.  For further information, please call 419-523-4449.

Blood Pressure Clinics are held the first Wednesday of the month 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.  The Toenail Clinics are held every month 9:00 a.m. - 12 noon   Both clinics are at The Senior Center on 3rd St. in Ottawa.   If you want to set-up an appointment for toenail trimming, please call the Senior Center at 419-523-5593.       

Tawa Manor offers Blood Pressure checks the second Monday of each month from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
